Rush Limbaugh, Dead at 70

The long-time “Doctor of Democracy,” the MahaRushdi, the one with “formerly nicotine-stained fingers,” the “harmless little fuzzball,” El Rushbo, Rush Limbaugh has died of a year-long battle with lung cancer at age 70. He was the most-listened-to radio personality of our time, hosting his mid-day radio talk show since 1988.

I would say that I agreed with Limbaugh on many cultural and social issues, but had many disagreements with him on foreign policy, immigration and the idea of “American Exceptionalism.” More on those below.

But before I get into those things, let me get this out of the way. Some people on the radio have been describing Rush Limbaugh as the “King” or even the “Dean” of talk radio. Nuh-uh. Jerry Williams was the “Dean” of talk radio, from 1957 to 1998 when he retired. So there.

But Rush Limbaugh certainly was one of the great radio broadcasters of all time, right up there with Paul Harvey, Larry King (who also died just recently), Gene Burns, and, dare I say, Bob Steele.

Regarding talk radio, I have been listening to talk radio for decades, since the 1970s when I would listen to the Fitzgeralds on WOR, as well as Arlene Francis and Dr. Meltzer on that station, and Larry Glick on WBZ. During the 1980s Boston’s talk radio WRKO was #1 in the ratings, with the aforementioned Jerry Williams, and his fellow great talk radio personalities Gene Burns, David Brudnoy, and Janet Jeghelian. But getting into the 1990s Jerry was getting reduced air time, that station WRKO stupidly got rid of Janet Jeghelian, and also Gene Burns moved away to another city. WRKO went downhill at that time, in my view. The station then replaced Gene Burns with syndicated  Rush Limbaugh.

So around 1992 was when I first heard Rush Limbaugh. I didn’t really like him then, because his show seemed like mainly just juvenile name-calling and typical conservative-statist stuff. So, I didn’t listen very much then. I did start listening more during the 2000s. At that time Limbaugh seemed to cut down on the name-calling, and the vitriolic rhetoric.

I certainly appreciated hearing Rush Limbaugh more in these past 5-10 years, especially with the information he gave daily on the revelations of RussiaGate, the “Trump-Russia collusions” conspiracy theory, and the illegal FISA spying that FBI and DOJ apparatchiks did in their treasonously going after the 2016 Trump campaign and attempting to frame Trump and some of his associates including Carter Page who is now trying to sue those FBI and DOJ parasites for their crimes. And I appreciated Limbaugh in the early months of the Covid scamdemic in his exposing some of the inconsistencies and irrational fear-mongering that government bureaucrats and fake news media have been giving us.

I certainly did disagree with him on some things. Limbaugh was a nationalist, a True Believer in “American Exceptionalism,” whatever that is, an America Firster. And he was a warmonger, in his support of George H.W. Bush’s Gulf War a.k.a. Iraq War I in 1990-91, as well as Bush’s son George W. Bush’s Iraq War II in 2003 and the junior Bush’s war in Afghanistan. Both wars seem to be never ending, the 30-year-long Iraq War and the Afghanistan War going on 20 years now.

Well, supposedly Limbaugh supported conservative Pat Buchanan’s candidacy for president in 1992, but then went with the warmonger Bush when Bush beat Buchanan in the primaries. Buchanan was very critical of Bush’s war, but apparently supported the bombing and destruction once it got started.

On the immigration issue, Limbaugh was very strongly opposed to “illegal” immigration, and spent many hours of his show ranting and raving on the issue. Limbaugh was typical of many conservatives and nationalists, in which they seem to believe in some kind of collective ownership of the territory as a whole, with “citizens” as the co-owners. But as I have written a lot before, such a system negates the concepts of private property, free markets and voluntary exchange. It’s a very socialistic system we have regarding immigration, involving government central planning, and involving making employers have to get government bureaucrats’ permission to hire someone, or workers having to get government bureaucrats’ permission to work somewhere. That’s socialism. (But don’t tell Rush Limbaugh I said that.)

Limbaugh was good at going against the Establishment in some ways. At first during the 2020 Covid scamdemic he was very critical of “public health” bureaucrats and moonstream media exaggerating the disease, which they were doing. This Guardian article from February of last year quotes Limbaugh:

“It looks like the coronavirus is being weaponised as yet another element to bring down Donald Trump,” Limbaugh said on his Monday show. “Now, I want to tell you the truth about the coronavirus. I’m dead right on this. The coronavirus is the common cold, folks.

“The drive-by media hype of this thing as a pandemic, as the Andromeda strain, as, ‘Oh, my God, if you get it, you’re dead’ … I think the survival rate is 98%. Ninety-eight per cent of people get the coronavirus survive. It’s a respiratory system virus.”

He was criticized for telling the truth. The “fact-checkers” had to “debunk” his truths with their lies and propaganda.  But Limbaugh was exactly right about that on every point there. As I wrote here and here, the Covid survival rate is roughly 99.9%. And the Establishment really did bring down Trump, and they did it by terrorizing the population to beg for mail-in voting, to enable the mail-in fraudsters and cheaters to exploit it for their election steal, which they did.

But sadly Limbaugh seemed to get less and less vocal about exposing the Covid fraud. I’m glad his substitutes over the past few months, Todd Herman and Ken Matthews, have not been afraid to honestly communicate the reality of this Covid scamdemic.

On Limbaugh’s cancer, I think he may have had more of a chance of survival through alternative, non-Establishment medicine treatments and nutritional therapy. In my view it was the drugs that killed him, not the cancer. Sadly, many people have a blind, superstitious faith in Establishment medicine and pharmaceutical drugs, oh, well.

Anyway, Limbaugh was very conservative on cultural and social issues. He believed in traditional marriage, obviously, because he had four of them.

And he often fused his views with his sarcastic sense of humor. Unfortunately, some people took it the wrong way. When a law student named Sandra Fluke was testifying before Congress to promote insurance coverage of birth control, Limbaugh called her a “slut” and a “prostitute,” causing many of his show’s advertisers to jump ship. So, this young “lady” wants to have a promiscuous lifestyle and she wants others to pay for it, was essentially her argument. No, I think that if women want “equality,” they can pay for their own damn birth control, just as they pay for other items in the drug store. That’s reasonable.

So if people didn’t like Limbaugh’s sarcastic sense of humor, they could just turn the dial. Sandra should know that when she appears before a congressional committee for public testimony, she risks being made fun of and called names, just as were Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Zuckerberg, and many others.

Many commentators now have been referring to Limbaugh as a “hate-monger” and a “racist,” which he wasn’t. Obviously those people hadn’t listened to Limbaugh’s show. He wasn’t a “hater.” As far as “racist,” his longtime producer and call-screener, “Mr. Snerdley,” is black. Would a racist hire a black man to be the show’s producer and call-screener? I think not. So please shut up, you idiots out there.

And regarding the racism issue, Limbaugh had been like many other conservatives, critical of what we now have in our society this phenomenon of reverse racism, anti-white racism, and so on. The race-obsessed fanatics have been installing something called “Critical Race Theory” in the government schools, many colleges and universities, and in government agencies and many corporations now. People, and kids in the schools, are being trained i.e. indoctrinated to have to believe and state that white people are inherently racist and are “white supremacists,” which is totally absurd. The indoctrinators are telling white people they are racists because of being white, an assertion which is itself racist!

The obsession of the people on the left with race and skin color is literally like a brainwashed cult. Add this race cultishness to the obsession the same kinds of people have with sex and sexual perversions. Yech.

Many of the same people, you see them on CNN, MSNBC, the White House Press corps, they call anyone who disagrees with them on any issue, “racists,” even if the issue has nothing to do with race. They do not seem to argue facts, in the “racism” accusation, or in “climate change,” and other hot-button issues.

So it is those people on the left who are the name-callers and haters, certainly much more than Rush Limbaugh was. Limbaugh supported traditional marriage and family values. And THAT is why they call him a “racist” and a “hater,” which is quite irrational, given that favoring traditional family values has nothing to do with racism or “hating” others. If you want your non-traditional lifestyles (and perversions, etc.) you can have them, but how about leaving others alone who don’t agree with you?

Many of the cultists on the left have said that they want to jail the haters, and the “deniers,” that they are now referring to as “domestic terrorists,” and jailing people without due process of course, and they want to put people in concentration camps a.k.a. “re-education camps.” They have been using very dangerous rhetoric and we can hear them and how brainwashed and ignorant the cultists are. These are very frightening times. Can you imagine conservatives saying we should “jail progressives,” calling them “domestic terrorists” to justify such policies? No, I have never heard conservatives suggest any such thing in all my years.

Too bad so many people are calling Rush Limbaugh a “hater” or a “racist,” in the critics’ news items and articles about him and his death. If only they had listened to his show.

And finally, I think the suggestion that Donald Trump replace Limbaugh on that mid-day show is a great idea. That would really bother the real haters out there, those little pricks, and guarantee continued high ratings for that show.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday: Celebrate an Example of Non-Violence

This week would have been the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 92nd birthday. He was assassinated in 1968.

King was very much opposed to violence and believed strongly in the importance and effectiveness of non-violent, peaceful protest. (Today’s Antifa and BLM, who took part in extremely violent riots, property destruction, looting and arson, burning hundreds if not thousands of businesses to the ground in several different cities, could learn a thing or two from Dr. King’s philosophy and example of non-violence.)

The below video (that’s really all audio) is his great speech from 1967 on why he was opposed to the Vietnam War.

Too bad the people on the left are not as opposed to war as they used to be. I guess Democrat Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama softened all that, with the aid of such political apparatchiks as Joe Biden (Who knows how many wars he’s going to start as President…), Al Gore, Joe Lieberman, Madeleine Albright, and many others now, as they rationalized, voted for or perpetrated more wars and more violence against foreigners who were of no threat to Americans.

The FBI harassed and spied on King, and kept a dossier on him, for political reasons and not because they legitimately suspected him of criminality. I wonder what King would have said today regarding the Democrats’ and Obama regime’s spying on the Trump campaign and administration and attempting to frame Trump with a dirty dossier.

This Martin Luther King, Jr. speech on why he opposed the Vietnam War was given in April, 1967 at Riverside Church in New York. Antiwar.com has the full transcript.

Democrats including Joe Biden still will not condemn this violence and destruction.

A Debate Between Two of NH Gov. Sununu’s Republican Primary Opponents

The Republican governor of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu, is considered by freedom lovers to be a tyrant who has abused his office especially when ordering businesses closed and causing economic chaos and job losses, much like the fascists in many other states, based on the scamdemic that we are still suffering. Sununu’s latest act of fascism was ordering the people of New Hampshire to have to wear masks on their faces if in gatherings of over 100 people, despite the studies which show that the face masks do not prevent the transmission of viruses and in fact could cause harm to the individual.

As I have mentioned previously, Sununu has two opponents in the Republican primary this September 8th, Nobody and Karen Testerman. I had written about Nobody, who had his name legally changed to Nobody, in this post.

There was a debate between Nobody and Testerman and, while Chris Sununu was invited to participate, he decided to snub his opponents. The debate between the two opponents was moderated by Mark Edge of Free Talk Live.

The two primary opponents discussed government schools, the drug war, COVID and Sununu’s fascist business closures, recent riots and violence in the cities in Amerika, and the possibility of New Hampshire state secession.

It certainly was a good debate and discussion. Very good points made by both candidates.

Besides Sunono’s fascism with COVID, he is also an anti-freedom-of-speech, anti-private-property, anti-freedom-of-association SJW in his signing the bills banning “discrimination” based on gender identity, and banning so-called “conversion therapy.” So the governor believes there are thought crimes which must be punished. He signed the bills only weeks before his previous reelection as governor in 2018. Conservatives who don’t know about that might want to consider ousting Sunono for those reasons as well as COVID fascism.

Election 2020 in Third World Amerika

So, last week was the Democrat convention. I only heard excerpts of the speeches on the radio. The Obamas, the Clintons, Cruella Harris, John Kerry, Cory Schnooker. Oh, they were inspiring, all right.

But did anyone there mention how Barack Obama and his VP Joe Biden continued the fascist drug war viciously, and that they went after medical marijuana people even in states that legalized medical marijuana? What about the drone strikes that murder mainly innocent civilians overseas that Obama escalated after Bush?

Did they mention how as a U.S. Senator Joe Biden wrote or sponsored legislation hardening the drug war, and in fact gave us drug-related asset forfeiture? Just look at all the awful fascist laws Biden gave Amerika. Many of those laws have negatively affected black people much more than whites. But remember, if you don’t vote for Biden, “you ain’t black!”

Sadly, Donald Trump agrees with the fascist drug war, and in fact he has said he wants to militarize it! Doh!

So far, the Republicans have begun their convention with speakers who are trying to give people “hope,” but they are nevertheless fellow fascists, neocons, drug warriors and regime-change warmongers. Oh, well.

Trump was correct toward the beginning of the scamdemic that the hysteria and panic was unwarranted, until the bureaucratic swamp that surrounds him in the White House gave him a good psy-opping. If Trump isn’t going to tell the American people that the CDC and NIH and Fauci have been lying to us about the “virus,” then he is one of them, as far as I’m concerned. He’s a liar, too. And a swamp creature as well.

We know that “175,000” people “killed by COVID-19” is a lie, because CDC and most of the states’ “public health” bureaucrats are counting heart disease deaths, diabetes deaths, stroke deaths, accidental deaths, gunshot deaths, etc. as “COVID-19 deaths,” simply if the deceased person had tested positive for coronavirus. We know that most of the “COVID” patients put on ventilators die, and probably because of the ventilator. And we know that COVID-19 has a .1 to .2% infection fatality rate, just like seasonal flu. So given that the COVID-19 is no more deadly than the seasonal flu, not only is “175,000 people killed by COVID-19” a lie, it’s not even close to that.

The panic-inciting bureaucrats and their co-conspirators in the media have been engaging in such Orwellian fear-mongering for what reason? Are they trying to terrify the masses into not wanting to physically go to the polls to vote in primaries or in the November election? It wouldn’t surprise me. The Trump haters lied about “Russia collusions” for 3 years, and Adam Stiff and Jerry Noodler conducted Spanish Inquisitions to try to get Trump but they failed. We see how corrupt these people are, and their cohorts in the media.

Look, if you can go to the grocery store, the bank and other places as people have been doing, then you can go to the polls and vote. That will ensure that your vote will be counted.

However, if you vote by mail, there is a very good chance that your vote won’t be counted. Given the cancel culture and the censorship and shame crusade against Trump supporters, if you’re a Trump voter do you really want the election workers who open those envelopes to see your name and know that you voted for Trump?

No, I’m not a Trump supporter or voter, I wouldn’t even vote for the joke of a “Libertarian” Party, with that sheeple Jo Smorgasbord, wearing the mask of submission to the State that symbolizes serfdom and suppression of dissent. And standing with the Marxists of “Black Lives Matter,” who don’t give a damn about the many more black lives being murdered by other black people than by police (and the “blacks and browns” being murdered by U.S. CIA drone strikes overseas, quite frankly). And besides, Jorgensen only won 5,000 or so votes in the states’ primaries for 2020, while Jacob Hornberger won some 9,000 votes, yet the convention partiers decided to go with Jorgensen!

Speaking of “Black Lives Matter”/Antifa, why do media and Democrats refer to rioters, looters, vandals, arsonists burning down businesses, people throwing rocks and bricks at others, as “peaceful protesters”? What about the marauders going into quiet, suburban neighborhoods to wake up the “white, rich people”?

You probably heard about the “white, rich couple” in St. Louis, the McCloskeys, who brandished their firearms when a large group of marauding terrorists broke into and trespassed on their property and threatened to burn their house down. The corrupt DA is investigating the couple for defending their home and their lives! They are actually Democrats who spoke at the Republican convention. Go figure.

But I digress. Regarding the mail-in cheating, if that gets imposed in many states for November, and for no good reason except as a means for people to cheat more easily, then we are going to see contested state election after contested state election, lawsuits galore, with voting challenges stuck in the courts for weeks, even months. This will not only apply to the Presidential election but to Congressional races as well. It can only be chaos, and may not be resolved by early January because Congressional races will not be resolved, and by January 20th Nancy Lugosi will be sworn in as President. Hooray for “democracy”! Don’t you love it?

“Black Lives Matter”: An Extreme Example of Today’s PC Intolerance

The United State of Amerika is now officially a crazy country, It’s literally crazy.

The political correctness run amok now has gone way beyond just being cringe-worthy or a laughingstock. Now the general population, corporation bigwigs, and especially Big Tech have joined the wackos in academia, Hollywood and the lunatic media in their brainwashing regarding racism and all the other “social justice” craziness.

For starters, Twitter and other Big Tech activists want to change words like “master” to something else, because certain words might refer to something (like “slavery”) that might offend someone or “trigger” some kind of emotional discomfort.

Like the realtors who are now changing “master bedroom” to “primary bedroom,” because someone somewhere might think you’re referring to slavery (I know I would think that a realtor is showing me a house in which that bedroom is reserved for the “master” who has actual slaves! Yes, I’m that dumb!).

Now, the loony-tunes at Twitter and elsewhere are going to change, according to CNET,

  • Whitelist becomes allowlist.
  • Blacklist becomes denylist.
  • Master/slave becomes leader/follower, primary/replica or primary/standby.
  • Grandfathered becomes legacy status.
  • Gendered pronouns (for example “guys”) become folks, people, you all, y’all.
  • Gendered pronouns (for example “he” or “his”) become they or their.
  • Man hours becomes person hours or engineer hours.
  • Sanity check becomes quick check, confidence check or coherence check.
  • Dummy value becomes placeholder value or sample value.

Those last two are obvious, because they might refer to how CRAZY these people are!

And “Black Lives Matter” now, with the protests, the vandalism, the violence, rioting and looting and burning down businesses, etc. What are they protesting? Police brutality? “Systemic racism”? Yep, there has been so much “systemic racism,” especially since all the Jim Crow laws were repealed 56 years ago, and look at all the affirmative action programs at all the college campuses and in the corporate world. All those black people being discriminated against in academia and business. It’s too much.

Because of all the “systemic racism” in USSA, Donald Trump’s tax cuts elicited the largest increase in employment for black Americans in history, giving black people JOBS so they can provide for themselves and their families. Such prosperity for black people was an insult to the outdated and fixated race activists that the extra-crazed statists among them had to take those jobs away from those black Americans! Wall Street sell-offs in February (as soon as the impeachment trial ended) and fascist governors ordering businesses closed. So much for all those new jobs for black people.

So anyway, I understand the anguish people feel when a white cop shoots, kills, assaults or harasses a black person. As I wrote in an earlier post, de-monopolizing community policing away from government control and greatly reducing the number of laws on the books (i.e. ending the war on drugs) would help a great deal toward resolving that issue.

But this stuff with tearing down statues because they refer to slavery, like doing that will really erase history from reality? That’s nutso.

Can’t you just walk by a goddamn statue and ignore it? It’s just a statue, it’s just sitting there, an inanimate object, not hurting anyone. And if someone is so fragile that he feels so upset seeing a statue, then maybe some therapy would be helpful.

And what about Jews? Do Jews feel upset if something refers to the Holocaust? What about the Holocaust memorial museum? Should that be taken down? Because it upsets Jews? It sure upsets me. It’s constantly reminding me that Hitler murdered millions of Jews. I just can’t handle such triggering. And maybe we should ban gas ovens as well? Wait, you’re going in the shower? That’s triggering me. Let’s remove all references to “Hitler” and “Nazi” from the history books, because that’s upsetting.

Nope. I don’t hear any Jews protesting at the Holocaust museums and telling the owners to close them down, and I don’t see Jews picketing Home Depot for selling gas ovens.

I know, some people don’t like my comparison, but I’m merely demonstrating how absurd all the irrational complaining and worrying about statues are.

And then there are the useful idiots getting on their knees and washing other people’s feet — how gross.

Recently, a University of Massachusetts nursing school dean was fired because she wrote in an email, “everyone’s life matters.” Can you believe that? So “Only Black Lives Matter” is what people are supposed to say, not “ALL lives” or “Everyone’s Life,” but “ONLY Black Lives.” And White Lives? We know the answer to that.

I refuse to say “Black Lives Matter,” because not all black lives matter, nor do all white lives matter, as far as I’m concerned. For example, a black comedian-actor, who is currently in prison because he drugged up women and then took advantage of them while they were unconscious. Now, what kind of sicko would do that? So as far as I’m concerned, if he were to keel over and croak that wouldn’t “matter” to me. The same thing with any perpetrator of violence, aggression or any violation of any victim’s person, life, liberty or property, whether the perpetrator is white or black or Asian or Hispanic, etc.

And the same goes for “Blue Lives Matter” as well. If a cop murders someone in cold blood, or even harasses and terrorizes some innocent person, that cop doesn’t “matter” to me.

I’m not going to put all people of one particular race, skin color, occupation, religion, etc. in a group and say “____ Matters,” because that would be implying all the people in that one particular group.

That is because we are individuals. This group identity obsession is a pathological cult now, the cult of identity politics, especially race and gender.

I stand for the victim of any act of aggression perpetrated by any aggressor. I touched on this in another post last week. I don’t stand with “Black Lives Matter” if some of its members terrorize a neighborhood, burn down businesses, break into businesses and loot from them, just as I don’t stand with the U.S. military when its members invade a foreign country, terrorize its people, break into homes and businesses and steal from them and rape and shoot and kill their people.

By the way, Sharyl Attkisson points out some of the black-on-white violent attacks that have taken place associated with “racism” protests, and she provides some disturbing videos as well.

Regarding the University of Massachusetts nursing school dean who was fired for writing “Everyone’s Life Matters,” Jonathan Turley wrote about that and pointed out how a lot of university faculty members all across the country are afraid to speak out against the censorship and purging of those who said or wrote politically-incorrect, officially-unapproved, and even non-offensive things. This is way not good in a free society. Academic freedom used to be the policy on college campuses, but it seems to be no more. Now the policy is a totalitarian, Archie Bunker-style intolerance (“Stifle yourself, Edith!), yes, just like the “right-wing neanderthals” of the past.

Is it really a good idea to suggest that black lives matter more than other, non-black lives? Why does it seem like Black Lives Matter doesn’t think that all black lives matter? Why is it offensive to suggest that “ALL lives matter,” or that “Everyone’s life matters”? It isn’t offensive, and it’s absurd to think that it is. And why is every little thing so offensive to people that we have to have censorship, Nazi-like book burnings, statue destruction and firing people for saying something totally innocent? What is wrong with people?

How Ignorant Are the Rioters, Statue-Topplers, and Race-Based Censors?

Charles Burris with a post on marauders and vandals going after the Tadeusz Kościuszko monument in Washington DC. He quotes the article he links to about Tadeusz Kościuszko:

Kościuszko also fought for the rights of national and racial minorities. In his will, he donated a portion of his estate to free black slaves belonging to Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers of the United States. However, Jefferson did not fulfil Kościuszko’s testament.

Kościuszko also bequeathed sums for the education of freed Afro-American slaves to enable them to function normally in society. According to many historians, he was ahead of his time with this will.

And supposedly “Uncle Ben’s” rice will change its name and logo, because of “racial stereotypes,” even though the guy “Uncle Ben” was a prominent black farmer in Texas, not a manual laborer but the owner of his business selling great rice to millers. The makers of “Uncle Ben’s” are caving to ignorance and irrationality by changing the product’s name for no good reason.

So much for education in Amerika.

Current Civil War-Era Hysteria Reminds Me of Interview of Tom Woods by a Zombie

With all the hysteria now over historic artifacts such as from the Confederacy or statues or military bases named after “Confederate generals,” I was reminded of Tom Woods’s “Interview with a Zombie,” in which the “Zombie” represents the typical brainwashed “Social Justice Warrior” who has been told without any evidence that “America is a racist country,” that keeping historic artifacts or statues in place is “racist,” and especially that advocating “Nullification” (The title of Tom Woods’s book that was published at that time) is “racist.” This Interview with a Zombie was 10 years ago this month, apparently, and as we see today nothing has changed. The Zombie could very well be anyone from CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, etc. So, I thought I would repost this video now.
