The Presidential Election: A Continuation of Rearranging the Deck Chairs

All the newscasts seem to be leading with stories about Hillary Clinton officially launching her Presidential campaign, and Jeb Bush as well, and now The Donald. These are the top stories now. All these mainstream news media, local and national, they see the #1 news story, and for every hour and for days, as whichever politician is the latest to crave power and control over others.

And in the end, it actually doesn’t matter who wants to run for President, or who wins, because they’re all the same. I hear these people on talk radio coming up with these fantasy “ideal” winning tickets such as Rubio-Cruz to beat Clinton or whatever. It’s just very sad that so many people waste so much time and money with these campaigns, these rearranging of deck chairs. Oh, who is going to make the air or water cleaner, or reverse so-called climate change, or who is going to cut taxes more or “take our country back,” or “take our Constitution back”? and so on. The answer is: No one is going to do those things. Can you possibly face that fact?

But millions and millions of people have this emotional blind faith in the political system, no matter how much it destroys their lives and steals their wealth and freedom. In 2010 there was a huge Republican victory as a reaction to the Democrats shoving ObamaCare into the law of the land in the dead of night. But in 2012 the Republicans became silent and practically endorsed the reelection of Obama, and while the GOP were swept in again in 2014, they will not repeal the fascist and corporatist ObamaCare, and now they support the TPP and so-called ObamaTrade that has nothing to do with trade and everything to do with giving foreigners control over your Internet usage, your wealth and your means of self-defense. And this Republican “vote with the Democrats” phenomenon is nothing new, as in 1994 there was the “Republican Revolution” yet from then and throughout the Republican Bush Administration with a Republican Congress there were continued increasing debt and deficits and skyrocketing spending and growth of the federal government and a post-9/11 hysterical police state. And prior to the 1994 “Republican Revolution” was the “Reagan Revolution” of 1980, followed by tax increase via the usual political shell games and continually growing federal government.

Nothing has changed.

With all the federal agencies and bureaus now, we have people all across the country being tyrannized by bureaucrats and their enforcers for this or that regulation non-compliance or technical error, or to do with the faux war on terrorism and the drug war, and it’s getting worse. And all these politicians really are the same, they’re all shysters, liars, corrupt sleazebags, and criminals. Well, maybe not all of them of course. Ron Paul was different. Only Ron Paul had promised to close down whole agencies and departments, and promised to pardon non-violent “offenders” being kept in the prisons for no good reason, as well as close down all foreign U.S. military bases overseas and bring all U.S. troops back to the U.S.

What? You really believe that we need our government to have its forces overseas? You’re really afraid of al-Qaeda and ISIS? Well, I know a lot of people are gullible, and that’s just the way it is. It’s easy for non-productive yet demagogically talented bureaucrats to bamboozle gullible people. But when the Press acts as uncritical spokesmen and stenographers for the government then we have a problem. (Thank God for the Internet, by the way. Otherwise we wouldn’t know what these crooks are up to, as the mainstream media cover up for them!)

Actually, another out-of-the-ordinary politician was President John F. Kennedy, who did provide a huge cut in taxes. I believe it was the largest tax cut in U.S. history up to that point. And it was a permanent tax cut, not one of those “temporary” gimmicks as we saw with George W. Bush and his fellow GOP schmucks.

And Kennedy also saw that the post-World War II national security state apparatus had outlived its usefulness (whatever usefulness it may have had for World War II), and he saw that the Cold War was unnecessary. So Kennedy wanted to dismantle that national security state and end the Cold War. For those reasons he was assassinated. In his June 10th, 1963 speech at American University, Kennedy stated that he was going to meet with Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, and that they would agree to a “comprehensive (nuclear) test ban treaty.” Kennedy said, “To make clear our good faith and solemn convictions on this matter, I now declare that the United States does not propose to conduct nuclear tests in the atmosphere so long as other states do not do so. We will not be the first to resume. Such a declaration is no substitute for a formal binding treaty — but I hope it will help us achieve one. Nor would such a treaty be a substitute for disarmament — but I hope it will help us achieve it.”

Here is the whole speech:

In other words, besides dismantling the national security state’s bureaus and agencies, and releasing to the private sector all the non-productive federally-employed goons and thugs with all their little guns and toys and walkie-talkies they like to play with, Kennedy also wanted to begin to reverse the nuclear arms race.

You see, the paranoids who needed a perpetual enemy to fear and a tax-funded national security state trough from which to feed, saw Kennedy’s proposals as a threat to their little fiefdoms in Washington and overseas in Europe as well. It all went downhill after that. And those paranoids and State gangsters continue to this day, staging false flags, coups, assassinations, appearing on talk shows to elicit fear in the masses (now it’s the “Moslems” and “Eye-ranians” rather than the Commies back then), and probably threatening and blackmailing this or that congressman to support this or that new “defense” system, etc., etc., etc.

The only politician since JFK who actually would have restored the people’s economic freedom and their civil liberties and security has been Ron Paul. But most of the voters remained ignorant about what Dr. Paul actually believed and proposed because the propagandists in the media presented a distorted picture of his views. And would Ron Paul have actually achieved any of his proposals of freedom and peace anyway? Probably not, given the communists, statists, warmongers and police statists in Congress who would override his vetoes.

So after all the Nixons, Reagans, Clintons and Bushes and Obamas, and after all the Dukakises, the Mondales, the Bob Doles, the John McCains and the Bernie Sanders, when exactly will be the time that you finally wake up and understand that as long as this self-destructive system of central planning and statism continues, which gives the predators of society that criminal apparatus to use for the sake of exercising power and hoarding illegitimately-collected wealth, when will you realize that nothing will change?
