Two Cults of the Modern Dark Ages: Climate Change and Transgender

This week included a major school “strike” for the climate fanatics, in which school students skipped their classes to attend events all over the country. The young people are experiencing anxiety and depression now because of being terrorized by their elder climate fanatics such as Alexandira Ocasio-Cortez, who say that we only have 12 years before we’re all dead from climate change.

“The world is going to end in 12 years.” No it’s not, you morons. People have been saying these things, from “The Coming Ice Age” to Global Warming to “Climate Change,” for decades and decades.

But the truth is that the main goal of the fanatics is the expansion of government, the further centralization of government power, the further empowering of government to steal more from their neighbors via government-imposed redistributionism, and based on envy and covetousness, and that’s really it, people.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow brainwashed dupes were themselves kids during the mid-2000s when Al Gore was warning people with his climate alarmism that included “An Inconvenient Truth” that was shown in classrooms throughout America. He and his cohorts should be charged with terrorism, and child abuse as well.

And Al Gore and his fellow Climate Crusaders are so concerned about the environment that they fly around in planes going from conference to conference, polluting the air from city to city to city. By the way, after being shamed into adding “green upgrades” to his 10,000+ square-foot home, the Gore home’s “footprint” is worse now than it was before he added the “green upgrades”!

Many people now are brainwashed to believe the climate change ideology, and they really are genuinely a cult of fanatics. They are religious crusaders who want to censor or call for the jailing of those who bring up inconvenient facts that refute the fanatics’ claims and repeated propaganda, not just jail for the “deniers” but death as well.

On Meet the Press, Chuck Toady had a one-hour special discussing the “Climate Change Crisis,” but didn’t invite anyone with an opposing point of view. Why, we needn’t even bother with the “deniers,” so what’s the point of including them? We know the truth already. Right, Toady?

And there are those who say that, well 97% of climate scientists agree with the Climate Change ideology (which isn’t true, by the way), and all the news outlets tell us about “Climate Change” and so it must be true. Well, a lot of people (like, maybe a billion or more?) believe in the Bible and Biblical scriptures, but does that mean the Biblical scriptures are really true?

The mass media repeat things over and over and over, so it must be true. Like, “Trump-Russia collusions,” and other things as Paul Craig Roberts pointed out, including 9/11, bin Laden, Saddam’s “weapons of mass destruction,” and so on. No, just because millions and millions of people believe something and the mass media and government bureaucrats repeat it over and over, that means nothing, and it doesn’t mean the propaganda is true. It does mean that a lot of people are gullible and easily manipulable. And it is getting worse today as government-controlled education stomps out the kids’ critical thinking skills and indoctrinates them with nonsense.

So, if you are someone who refuses to hear the opposing arguments and instead calls for censorship, calls for jailing or death to “deniers,” then yes you are a “crusader” and a part of a religious and fanatical “cult.”

One of the cult crusaders making her views known was this little 16-year-old climate groupie from Sweden, lecturing the rest of us. Lecturing the previous generations. She’s brainwashed. According to Wikipedia, she has an opera singer mother and an actor father. After she was first exposed to the Climate Change propaganda, “she became depressed and lethargic, stopped talking and eating, and was eventually diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) and selective mutism,” says Wikipedia. Besides training their little girl to be a manipulative whiner and a shrill demagogue looking toward the Oscars, I wonder what else her actor parents did to her, psychologically? The climate cult fanatics have given her Asperger syndrome, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) and selective mutism, apparently. And shame on the greedy corporate green cronies who are exploiting this kid and her childhood as well.

Anyway, there are thousands of scientists who do not sign on to the fear-mongering propaganda. “Science is settled” means that it is settled by consensus. But there is never a legitimate consensus when scientific inquiry and testing and retesting of data are resisted. Actual science is important. And evidence is important, too. The “evidence” the cultists use to “prove” their points mainly consists of computer models that are often shown to be wrong.

Another example of a society-wide brainwashed cult is the transgender movement. Yes, it is a “cult,” in which the rational people are not allowed to refer to someone who is a biological male as “he” or “him” and are accused of “misgendering” when in actuality it is people who are calling an actual male “she” or “her” who are misgendering. It is a cult when the brainwashed ones call for jailing people who “misgender” others (i.e. referring to someone with the correct gender pronoun).

There are actually people who when they talk to someone or introduce themselves with their name they also add a quick “he/him” or “she/her” to make sure the other person knows for sure what their gender identity is. I’ve seen people who are clearly female, for example, putting “she/her” on their Facebook or Twit profile. Really? You’re definitely female, it’s obvious with your looks and your name, but you have to make sure that others are given more information so that they know for sure that you are female? (This isn’t a “cult”?)

The transgender cult now includes Republican governors of U.S. states, such as Massachusetts and New Hampshire (the “Live Free or Die” state), signing bills to outlaw “conversion therapy,” which doesn’t just include “electric shock therapy” but also includes merely helping someone deal with the insecurity of gender identity issues.

When government officials outlaw certain conversations between a doctor and patient, or between a psychologist and a client, yes, we are talking about a “cult” here.

And then there are the many parents now, especially in the U.K., who are brainwashed to believe that if their child shows interests or behaviors of the opposite sex that therefore the parent should encourage the child to BE the opposite sex, give the kid hormones and eventually surgically mutilate the child to “become” the opposite sex. And we’re talking about parents starting their gender-confused kids in such a process at the age of 4 or 5! Those parents and the “doctors” who go along with these rituals of psychosis really ought to be charged with child abuse. They are ruining their children’s lives and their futures, certainly much more than “climate change” ever could. And the transgender cultists are becoming CPS nazis as well in the U.K., stealing kids from parents who refuse to comply with the transgender religious cult.

The truth is, that we’re not allowed by law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire (the “Live Free or Die” state) to say, the truth is most kids who experience an interest in being the opposite sex are merely going through a phase and will probably grow out of it at some point, says a Johns Hopkins psychiatrist. Someone who is or thinks he is “transgender” most likely has unresolved emotional issues from one’s childhood, issues that need to be resolved (which is now illegal in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the “Live Free or Die” state — have I mentioned that?).

But the fanatical rage of what’s “in” these days, like the transgender movement, has taken over rationality just like “climate change” and other issues of panic and hysteria that also includes the hysterical anti-Iran propaganda and the anti-immigration movement.

“Green New Deal”: Rule by Crazed, Brainwashed Fanatics

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ed Markey have presented their hysterically irrational plan of nearly-total government takeovers of the energy sector or of the entire economy, in the name of “saving the planet.”

But it is really in the name of giving more elitists in Washington more control over the lives of others, in the name of slowing down and reversing society’s growth and progress it has experienced over the past 100 years, and reversing the rise in our standard of living.

It is in the name of punishing those who are successful and wealthy and taking away from them the justly acquired fruits of their successes in order to “equalize the wealth.” In other words, rather than strive to make more people wealthy and prosperous, let’s strive to make the masses poor and impoverished. And we’ll implement our fanatical mythological beliefs as part of the process.

Ed Marxey has a history of this kind of insanity as part of the Massachusetts moonbat tradition. And no, Alexandria Ocasio-Loonytunes, the world is not going to “end in 12 years” if we don’t do the progress-reversing, mass poverty-causing things you think are necessary.

“Climate change” fanatics: the climate has been changing for hundreds of millions of years. There have been ice ages, and there have been warming periods. Nothing you can do about it. The effects of human industrial activity and fossil fuels could only be so infinitesimal as to not have any real effect whatsoever. Climate change is a natural occurrence of the Earth, regardless of human behavior.

The climate change hysteria is mainly based on computer models that don’t pan out, and fraudulent, junk science. But people believe what they want to believe. The hysterical fanatics refer to skeptics of the global warming/climate change fanaticism as “deniers,” explicitly referring to Holocaust deniers to insult and denigrate those who are not a part of the hysterical, irrational chicken littlers. The fanatical climate change crusaders have also called for jailing skeptics. These fanatics are literally crazy, brainwashed people.

I heard Glenn Beck this morning lambasting Boston University, where Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez got her degree in economics. But ALL the colleges are like that. The colleges are turning out brainwashed robots who think thoroughly irrational things. And those young people already begin by being products of the government schools, who make the kids dumber and dumber as they go from K through 12. Sad.

The State of the Union

Apparently Donald Trump has been permitted by the high queen of botox to give his State of the Union this week. I hope that Rex Reed and Jaye P. Morgan don’t come along and gong him. But here is my take on the “state of the union.”

As I’ve written before, the territory of America is just too big a territory and too big a population to be all one single country or culture, all ruled over by one bureaucracy in Washington. It needs to be decentralized.

On the one side, we have the mystical nationalists who want that single nation and culture, from coast to coast, border to border. And their tribalist mentality, endorsing the police state and government wall to lock out foreigners. Many of these same people who say they are against the killing of unborn babies, couldn’t give a damn about babies in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and so forth.

And on the other side, we have the leftists who want to kill babies, steal money and property away from people and who want the government to be in control of taking in foreigners, mainly to have new voters to help further empower Democrats.

Many on both sides are lacking in moral principles, and are in contempt of freedom, individualism and private property, the very principles upon which America was founded. I’m really getting tired of all this.

The latest controversy is Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam who admits to being in a yearbook photo in which 2 people are shown, one wearing “black face” and the other in a KKK shmata. The news articles aren’t saying which one is Northam. But this is coming up at this time because of further scrutiny of Northam now that he has expressed the sentiments of abortion-promoting Democrats and Planned Parenthood.

In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was Democrat strategists who found the yearbook and brought that to people’s attention, just to take attention away from Northam’s quote in an interview on abortion.

The recent abortion controversy has been revived by New York state whose anti-freedom governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law a much loosened abortion policy, in which non-doctors may perform abortions, and if the baby is “not viable.” (A lot of born babies and young kids are “not viable,” because they are dependent on their mommies for feeding. Should it be legal to kill them, too?)

And then in Virginia this House delegate Kathy Tran introduces a “partial-birth abortion” bill, to allow the killing of a baby just as it’s being born. Now, some talk radio people have been saying that Tran’s bill would allow the killing of the baby after the baby is born, which would be murder. However, there is not much difference between killing a baby just as it’s being born and killing a baby after it is born.

But Gov. Ralph Northam was asked about the bill in an interview and it is really this quote that Democrats are trying to sweep under the rug. Northam misunderstood what the actual bill would allow, but obviously he gets what the pro-death activists and the abortion industry really intend. Here is the quote, according to the Daily Caller:

“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

Like the narcissism of the social activists who want to compel others to have to use certain pronouns that are incorrect or accept as truth that someone is a male even though he is a female just because he says he is a male, narcissism is what abortion activism is all about. “The baby is inconvenient for me, so kill the baby. I can’t be bothered to go through 9 months of pregnancy and childbirth. I can’t be bothered with using birth control, etc., etc.”

Related to all this, Democrats want “Medicare for All” or “single payer,” but most important is that the government has complete control over our medical matters, has complete access into our private medical and personal information. The anti-freedom socialists don’t believe that people have a right to privacy (except when it comes to abortion!). They don’t want a society of private property, so your home is not yours, and your private medical matters are not for just you to know, or just between you and a doctor. The socialists will want to know everything about the people among the population. They especially will want to know who might be a Christian or a conservative, or who homeschools their kids, or who owns firearms.

So with the abortion issue we have had a good idea of how some people really think, such as when we heard that Planned Parenthood was selling body parts of aborted babies. That is how some people think of their fellow humans.

And there is the narcissism and economic covetousness of many of the same people.

Elizabeth Warren says that billionaires should “stop being freeloaders,” even though probably in most cases billionaires became billionaires by way of consumers voluntarily paying their money for products or services those billionaires are offering.

Why does Elizabeth Warren want to steal even more income or wealth from people than the government already steals from them? And yes, when the government orders someone to hand over one’s earnings involuntarily at gunpoint and with the threat of being thrown in a cage, that’s stealing.

Warren stated:

“All I’m asking for is a little slice from the tippy, tippy top. A slice that would raise — and this is the shocking part, Jim — about $2.75 trillion over the next 10 years … That’s money we need so that every kid in this country has a decent child care opportunity, has an opportunity for pre-K, has an opportunity for a decent school.”

Barf. Me. Out.

But the federal, state and local governments have been throwing more and more money into government-run education, and the schools are producing dumber and dumber, and more and more ignorant graduates. What about that, Pocahantas?

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to tax, i.e. steal, a much higher percentage of people’s earnings as well. Some people have been referring to her as “AOC,” but that reminds me too much of “AOL,” which I had from 2001-2005 and that ruined my then-computer with a terrible virus. So AOL sucks, and I will not refer to “AOC,” and just type out her name.

Steal 70% of someone’s earnings? Will it ever be enough? And for what? What exactly does the government in Washington do that is worth ANY of the money it steals from us? NOTHING!

And now the new congressperson from Detroit Rashida Tlaib wants to seize GM’s closed plants using eminent domain, and use such places for the “Green New Deal.” She’s the degenerate who spewed a most profane and disrespectful tirade at a bar recently.

Nothing about paying GM for the use of the closed plant, or offering to buy the closed plant from GM with funds from the philanthropists who generally seem to agree with these crazy clucks and their environmental fanaticism, such as Bill Gates or George Soros.

Nope. their mentality is “let’s steal property and confiscate wealth,” robbing and thieving, make use of other people’s hard work and labor to serve our own narcissistic agendas, etc. “All these producers and creators of wealth in our society are too ‘rich,’ so because of our own selfish envy and covetousness we must take it all away form them and steal their property.”

And kill babies just before they’re born (or after they’re born), because they are inconvenient.

But the people on the other side, such as conservatives, talk radio ditto-heads, nationalists, are just as bad. They don’t believe in private property and free markets, and they also believe in stealing private wealth, imposing fines on those who trade with non-government-authorized producers or sellers, jailing employers and laborers who do not comply with orders to get government authorization to exist, in their trade idiocy and their anti-foreigner immigration collectivism and tribalism.

I’ve heard plenty of the egalitarian “everybody has to pay their fair share” crapola from the talk radio ditto-heads and so forth. They do not get what America is all about: private property, free markets and voluntary trade, individualism and freedom.

Each person is an individual. If you don’t suspect an individual of violating the person or property of others, then you leave him alone. An employer wants to hire a worker the employer thinks is most qualified, so he hires him, and you leave them alone. No going to Mommy and Daddy government for permission or authorization to work somewhere or employ someone. But the dittio-heads don’t get that. For them, freedom stops at the border, and outsiders may not come into “our home” without a bureaucrat’s authorization.

So, both the leftists and the other side are for the police state, government intruding into people’s private lives, and, most of all, government central planning.

It’s enough already.

The Greed and Control Freakishness of the “Climate Change” Fanatics

Paul Driessen has this important article on following the money of the climate alarmists, and he makes some very good points.

And Donald Boudreaux has this column on unrealistic progressives when it comes to auto fuel efficiency standards.

In my view, the main point of the climate change industry (besides being control freaks) is like a lot of other fanatical movements of those on the Left: to further steal from the workers and producers of society, call it “taxes,” or more taxes, higher taxes, new taxes, carbon tax, etc., etc., etc. It is a part of this envy and covetousness of those who resent others being successful. Just like with Thomas Piketty whose popular recent book mainly shows the mentality not of helping those at the bottom, but taking more away from those at the top. And the climate change preachers have a lot of gullible sheeple who are duped by the emotionalistic rhetoric of fear and panic. Sad.

More “Climate Change” Analysis

Robert Murphy on how government bureaucrats and the New York Times are misleading the public about climate change. Murphy discusses the “National Climate Assessment.”

(I’ve already said what I have to say about climate change. The climate has been changing since the world began. Nothing we can do about it. But there are millions of hysterical alarmists who obediently go along with the agenda of the politicians and bureaucrats worldwide, whose main goal is to get bureaucratic control over all wealth and industry, and steal as much as possible from the people, and that’s it.)

Trump Administration Joins the Climate Change Bandwagon

It looks like WND is now allowing lefty columnists on, either out of fear that a “Fairness Doctrine” for political websites might be implemented, or perhaps just out of kindness. They have a column by Ellen Ratner who comments on the most recent climate change alarmism, and from the Trump administration, of all places.

Like her hysterical fellows in the climate change crowd, Ratner says that the fires in California are the result of climate change, and that global temperatures are rising and that “we are heating up the oceans and the snow on the mountains to a place from which we can’t turn back. We need action now.”

And by that she probably means we need more government interventionism (i.e. more police state), more bureaucracies and new carbon taxes and raising other taxes. Because really the main intention of the climate activists in their propaganda and making the masses hysterical is to further empower the government to suppress progress and innovation and to steal more from the people so that bureaucrats and those tied to government powers can enrich themselves, and that’s basically it.

But a lot of people are brainwashed to believe the “global warming” and climate change hysteria and that it’s “settled science,” and the “97% of climate scientists believe…” and so on.

Many among the masses believe the hysterical propaganda for government expansion in climate change in the same way that many people believed the post-9/11 propaganda.

After 9/11, the vision of planes crashing into buildings and the buildings collapsing was repeated over and over and over and the people believe the mantra that “We were here minding our own business and then Muslim extremists have committed an act of war against us, they hate us for our freedom and they want to kill us all,” etc., etc., etc. Whereas prior to 9/11 there were those who pointed out that in the preceding decades the U.S. government was sending its military over to the Middle East and invading, bombing, occupying foreign lands and murdering hundreds of thousands of innocents especially Muslims and provoking foreigners to retaliate, and so on. Prior to 9/11 those truth tellers were ignored, and after 9/11 they were called “traitors” and “unpatriotic.”

And now when the non-brainwashed climate skeptics bring up actual scientific facts, empirical evidence and common sense, they are called “deniers,” which is an intentional reference to Holocaust denial. But the True Believers — and there are many of them — don’t want to hear facts and truth. And we know that it becomes a fanaticism when the alarmists call for jailing “deniers.”

The hysterical climate change True Believers will probably not want to hear that if the sea levels really are rising and that might cause disasters down the road, there is nothing we humans can do about it. Well, you can build barriers along the coasts, I suppose. But even if we completely stop all industry, close down all manufacturing plants and have no more cars and planes, it still won’t stop the climate from changing or the sea levels from rising, because the main cause of climate change is nature. Climate change has been occurring since the Earth began. There have been ice ages, and times of warming. After an ice age and things warmed up, it was not because humans were affecting things with their industrial smokestacks, SUVs and fossil fuels, because obviously those didn’t exist during those times.

And as I mentioned previously, the “settled science” that the climate change True Believers refer to has mainly been computer models which make very bad predictions for future events or conditions. And if they do use actual scientific data, they have to resort to fraudulent and skewed testing.

But True Believers will believe what they want to believe, based on their blind faith in the powers of governments to fix things, based on emotionalizing issues by seeing poor little polar bears stranded on melting icebergs, really based on years of indoctrination and hysteria now. Actually, these people are the “deniers” of our time. When people say that the “science is settled,” they mean that it is settled by consensus. But there is never a legitimate consensus when scientific inquiry and testing and retesting of data are resisted. Actual science is important.

There probably will be global warming in the long term mainly because the sun is getting hotter and by about 1 billion years from now everything on Earth will be dried up and no life will exist. But for now we should look at global warming as a good thing. There are colder areas of the Earth in which agriculture and vegetation would benefit from more warming. That means an increase in food production. And isn’t that a good thing?
