Coronavirus Hysteria: “Liberals” for Fascism, Police State in Amerika

Here is my latest article on Activist Post: Coronavirus Hysteria: “Liberals” for Fascism, Police State in Amerika:

March 17, 2020

Former Congressman Ron Paul is right about the government and medical fear mongers inciting panic among the American population. Bureaucrats and their media spokespeople are scaring Americans to accept unnecessary abridgments of their freedom.

And it’s very troubling now with the “liberals” and their calls for more fascism and controls, and pleas for censorship, just as it was with the warmongers after 9/11.

Bernie Sanders recently accused Donald Trump’s alleged coronavirus “unfactual information” of “exacerbating the crisis,” and said that, “the first thing we have got to do, whether or not I’m president, is to shut this president up right now.”

But all Trump has done is to tell the truth about the coronavirus COVID-19, that for most people is really no different from the seasonal flu. The symptoms are similar, and for most people the symptoms are mild symptoms.

For Bernie and the media propagandists, everyone should just obediently believe the hype that implies that COVID-19 is as serious as Ebola, and shut up.

(However, while Ebola has a 90% mortality rate, coronavirus COVID-19 has a less then 1% mortality rate. That’s quite a difference, Bernie.)

Like the neocon warmongers and interventionists who censored criticism of government psychopaths after 9/11, the “liberals” will be going after any speech that doesn’t fall in line with the official narrative propaganda of COVID-19.

After 9/11, there were many instances of government-imposed censorship. In the years after 9/11, Sen. Lindsey Graham said, “I wish we could find some way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war. During World War II, you had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy.”

Note the “We’re At War” thing. We’re “at war” so Graham says censoring or stifling freedom of speech (especially our criticism of those imbeciles in Washington) is okey-dokey for him.

And Graham and his fellow statists also reject due process. He said that if someone is accused of terrorism, then, “If you’re an American citizen and you betray your country, you’re not going to be given a lawyer.”

Naturally statists who worship the high-and-mighty rulers do not understand that we’re talking about those accused of “betraying their country,” not people who have been tried and convicted of such acts.

But soon the non-hysterical and non-irrational will be accused of “terrorism” or of “giving people COVID-19” if we don’t go along with the hype and panic, and who knows what will happen then.

The “liberals” are now the ones with the “We’re at War” mentality, with the overblown, over-hyped “War on Coronavirus.” Unlike during the H1N1 crisis of 2009-2010 when Obama was President, now Trump is President. That’s different. So the Trump haters’ inner Nazi is now showing in full glory.

Besides the president of France Emmanuel Macron saying, “We are at war,” here in the U.S. government parasites like Joe Biden and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo are calling for the military to get involved with COVID-19. As Becky Akers notes, Cuomo has already militarized New Rochelle. (Oh, what will the Petries do now?)

Herr Cuomo wrote in a New York Times op-ed, “our best hope is to utilize the Army Corps of Engineers to leverage its expertise, equipment, and people power to retrofit and equip existing facilities — like military bases or college dormitories” … (For COVID-19 sufferers? Or for those who object to the “liberal” fascists and their police state? We just don’t know.)

And the president of Massachusetts General Hospital has said that “we need to think about this in almost a war-like stance,” so, I’m sure that he and the doctors have their battle fatigues on, the ambulance tanks revved up, and ready for the kill.

In Massachusetts, the alleged birthplace of the American Revolution, the liberal Republican Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered schools closed, a ban on gatherings of more than 25 sheeple, and he’s ordered restaurants and bars closed down. Other U.S. state governors are doing the same, and some are ordering more extensive bans and closures.

The sheeple are responding to the media and “officials” propaganda by flooding grocery stores and hoarding toilet paper and other goods, like it’s an impending blizzard or hurricane. The restaurant closures will elicit more hysterical crowding of the grocery stores, so the fascists in control might consider closing them, too. What then?

The rulers just don’t get the freedom thing, do they?

What, not let all the businesses be open and let the informed public make their own choice whether to voluntarily go into a restaurant or bar, or not?

No, NOT voluntary! “Voluntary” doesn’t enter the vocabulary of a fascist, or socialist like Bernie Sanders who wants the government to control just about every aspect of everyday life, with all the people being compelled by force to comply. OBEY!

With the stock market collapsing like in 2008, and many people now losing their finances and with the business closings many people losing their necessary commerce and paychecks, I am hoping that someone takes these bureaucrats and their dictatorial orders to court.

And what if business owners and their customers and patrons engaged in civil disobedience, and went about their lives as usual? What would Gov. Charlie Baker do to them? Arrest them? And put them into over-crowded jails, putting them at risk of coronavirus COVID-19?

And all this hysteria and government conniving with a contagious virus, that, as Dr. Jeremy Faust of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School wrote, isn’t as deadly as the media are making it out to be. Compared to Ebola, COVID-19’s mortality rate of probably less than 1% is quite low, taking into account all the people who have probably already had it but because of mild symptoms assumed it was just a flu or cold and so didn’t bother reporting it or even going to the doctor.

It is mainly a serious problem for those who already have respiratory illnesses or other serious medical problems, and for the elderly whose immune systems are weaker because of age.

And by the way, because of the media’s sensationalizing COVID-19, and with the fascism and militarism of this latest situation, just how many strokes and heart attacks might happen (or have happened) because of all the stress and worry being inflicted onto people by fear mongers and the stock market collapse and uncertainty they have caused?

Irrational Hoarding of Toilet Paper Comes from Media-Driven Panic

A lot of rational people are saying they are more fearful of the PANIC than they are of COVID-19 coronavirus itself. And I am in total agreement with that. The panic is sickening, and it is being driven by the idiots in the media, many of whom hate Donald Trump, and that is probably their main motivation to incite panic and elicit people to rush to Walmart to hoard toilet paper.

What is this obsession with toilet paper? COVID-19 is mainly a respiratory disease and it doesn’t really affect your digestive system or cause diarrhea or excessive number of BMs, supposedly. Is that what the panic-stricken sheeple are worried about out there?

“Fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath.” Those are the CDC’s official known symptoms of COVID-19. More severe cases involve the lungs being filled with excess fluid and people “drowning” that way. Those more severe cases are the ones who need the ICU.

But much of this panic is media driven, and based on political motivations. Some people are linking to a Rush Limbaugh episode last week in which he compares this epidemic to the 2009-2010 H1N1 “swine flu” epidemic. Limbaugh says, “60 million people infected, 300,000 hospitalized.” But where was the panic at that time? There wasn’t any panic. At least, I don’t remember any panic.

The difference is that OBAMA was President then, and the hated Trump is President now!

And some of the government and media’s panic-incitement is also to do with their exploiting the crisis to sneak in their little government programs like paid sick leave or whatever the CONgress just voted for. The bill supposedly is for “emergency” sick leave, but language in the bill shows that they are putting permanent changes in the law. That is why those 40 Republicans voted against the bill. Rep. Louis Gohmert explains the details.

Politicians of both major parties, which make up the one Big Government racket, love to exploit crises to insert their own pet legislation into emergency bills. They are criminals.

Related in some way: Tyler Curtis with a Mises Institute article on Bernie Sanders’s socialism vs. Donald Trump’s socialism. They are all criminals.

But the panic now is unnecessary, and it really is frightening, and we can blame the government-media complex for this, including Upchuck Todd a.k.a. Chuck Toady and George Snuffleupagus whose respective shows are on today.

And I’m not sure about the “social distancing” recommendation. It’s probably good for the more vulnerable people such as elderly and those with serious medical conditions or illnesses. But is it really necessary for everybody else?

Actually social isolation can cause people additional stress, and stress affects the immune system. Just some food for thought there.

I have heard that someone could be healthy and may even have contracted the COVID-19 coronavirus but isn’t experiencing any symptoms because his immune system is strong. But he could be a “carrier” and could give it to someone who is more vulnerable. But if someone is more vulnerable, then really it is that person who should be practicing “social distancing.”

And in that case, why doesn’t everyone just stay in and not go out and practice “social distancing” during the regular flu season, to protect the elderly and other vulnerable people from the flu which kills 10-12,000 Americans ever year?

No, we’re not going to do that. With the seasonal flu we are not going crazy, hysterical, hoarding toilet paper, and isolating ourselves out of fear and panic, are we? Nope.

At least 15 million people have gotten the flu this season, including my wonderful mother, who is over 80 and now she’s all better, as are my brother and sister-in-law, and my 82-year-old uncle, who also all had the flu this season. And they’re all good now. Yep.

Try to “chill,” everyone. Be careful, wash your hands, don’t touch your face if you have handled doorknobs and other publicly accessible objects. But there’s no reason to be HYSTERICAL about it!!

And then there are the fascist governors and mayors giving orders banning gatherings of “more than 250 people” and all that. That includes the “liberal” northeast states of Massachusetts and Connecticut with their fascist governors. And what about New Hampshire, the “Live Free or Die” state? Will Gov. Chris Sunununu impose the same kind of fascist orders on the people of New Hampshire? I loathe and detest fascists. Especially Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Half-Baker.

But all the school closings, events being shut down, concerts canceled. The St. Patrick’s Day parades canceled and the Boston Marathon postponed. Is all that really necessary? Let’s end everyday life because a virus with a less-than-1% mortality rate is going around. I don’t remember seeing this kind of hysteria and panic with the Ebola scare of 2014. Or at any time in all my life. And I’m in my mid-50s, so, I’m no “spring chicken.” I thought I’d seen everything, but apparently not.

The unprofessional, politics-motivated media should be ashamed of themselves for inciting panic.

A Conspiracy Theory on COVID-19

One conspiracy theory, not that I believe it (although given the sick nature of the Chinese rulers it’s not unbelievable), is that the Chinese intentionally caused the COVID-19 coronavirus to spread onto the U.S. in order to cause panic and hysteria, such as we are seeing now with business and school closings and event cancellations, and a negative crashing effect in the stock markets as we are also seeing now. The Dow crashed down from its high of 29,000+ to 21,000. (However, it was at 19,000+ just three years ago when Trump took office, FWIW.)

Given that the Chinese rulers are extremely sick psychopaths in their evil treatment of their own people such as with the concentration camps, a.k.a. “re-education camps,” and their authoritarian social credit score system, it should not be a big surprise if the above conspiracy theory actually were correct.

But would the Chinese rulers have some kind of motive to do such a terrible thing, if that were the case? Well, yes they would have a motive, it could be their way of retaliating against Donald Trump and his collectivistic trade war that he started against the Chinese, which has been having quite a negative effect on the Chinese economy.

And yes, Trump started the war, and for no good reason. He has stated many years ago that he wants to start a trade war with China, as I wrote in a 2011 post.

Trump is an extremely ignorant collectivist, in which he seems to believe that “America trades with other countries,” when no, individuals and businesses in the U.S. have trades, contracts and transactions with other individuals and businesses here and in other countries.

As Don Boudreaux wrote in a November, 2018 article,

The American economy, though, is not remotely analogous to Caterpillar, Inc. Americans do not work for America, Inc. And there are no goods or services that we Americans are managed as workers to produce for sale to non-Americans. America is not a business that operates according to a shared, unitary plan the success or failure of which is recorded on a meaningful budget. Thus, the American economy – unlike an actual business firm, household, or government – is not an organization that can spend too much or go into debt. In reality, America, Inc., does not exist. Being non-existent, it cannot earn, spend, lend, borrow, or budget.

Besides Don Boudreax’s article on trade deficits, see Murray Rothbard, Robert Murphy, and Richard Ebeling as well. Given that Trump is concerned, irrationally, about trade deficits which actually mean nothing in the real world, he has no concern at all about deficits that actually do mean something, the U.S. government’s budget deficit and Trump’s trillion-dollar budget deficit!

But if there is a conflict going on economically between the U.S. and China it is one that was either started or greatly exacerbated by Donald Trump, in his ordering tariffs that are really the U.S. government’s way of waging economic warfare on its own people, as well as hitting the Chinese people!

So, China has a motive to retaliate against Trump’s economic warfare. Not that I’m saying that the above conspiracy actually is true or that I believe it. But when we have a leader who is psychopathic, like Donald Trump, he is like past psychopathic leaders of the U.S., including FDR, who initiated an oil embargo against Japan which provoked the Japanese rulers to attack Pearl Harbor.

More Panic and Hysteria and Craziness Due to a Coronavirus!

I don’t have much time today. But I do have time to link to Jon Rappoport’s latest, not only on the hysteria and panic with COVID-19 smithcoronavirus, but the media/medical cartel’s shrieking PROPAGANDA with this crap!

Selling fear—the “epidemic experts” weigh in

These people are treating this virus like it’s Ebola! The real mortality rate among those who actually have the virus is between .01% and 1%. And yes, it really is like the flu. It is not Ebola! Most people who have it and who develop the disease will only experience mild symptoms! The people who need to stay away from crowds or be more self-protective are the elderly or those who already have serious illnesses and a compromised immune system. And anyone who has the symptoms and/or has tested positive should stay away from hospitals and nursing homes to protect those vulnerable people. Duh. No need for hysteria. No need to cancel anything. No need to quarantine people for no real reason.

I’m more afraid of government officials or “official” doctors trying to make me stay inside and not allow me to go out (or they’ll shoot me or something) than I am of the coronavirus itself.

People are literally crazy now. The retarded Mayor of Boston has canceled the St. Patrick’s Day parade for NO GOOD REASON! People look forward to that, bozo! What is wrong with people?

Democrats Rigging Debates and Primaries Again; Libertarians a Better Alternative

Another slow news week in Amerika, USSA. Coronavirus COVID-19 panic and hysteria that’s more dangerous than the actual virus itself, Undemocratic primaries and caucuses, tornadoes in Tennessee.

Is there any good news? Well, yes, the good news is that coronavirus COVID-19 probably isn’t as serious for most of the people as it could have been. It isn’t H1N1, or Anthrax. But the political situation, this 2020 election that began on November 8, 2016, is soooo unendingly annoying.

However, as the Presidential primaries and caucuses continue, there are other winners besides the major party candidates the media are obsessed with.

For instance, Jacob Hornberger won the Minnesota caucuses and California primary for the Libertarian Party. In North Carolina, Jacob was the top actual vote-getting candidate with 8.7% while “None of the Above” won with close to 30%.

Why don’t the media cover the Libertarian Party? I don’t think we can blame the government-run education system, because even during the 1980s the media would not cover the Libertarian Party, who are often mislabeled as “fringe,” even though it’s the goddamned Democrat and Republican parties who are “fringe” in their extreme statism and policies that the reasonable and rational “Founding Fathers” would NEVER have approved of! The Democrat and Republican policies are what the early Americans and Revolutionaries escaped from!

But with the Democrat party in this primary season, we can clearly see how “the fix is in.” The Democrat head honchos are rigging the primaries once again. This time they are favoring Joe Biden. One after another, the remaining “moderates” are dropping out of the race and endorsing the Alzheimer’s patient. Ans yes Biden clearly has Alzheimer’s.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar and Michael Bloomberg all endorsed Biden. Why would anyone in his right mind endorse someone who doesn’t know what state he’s in most of the time, and who is clearly in a major cognitive decline?

So, the Democrat higher-ups are telling the other candidates to drop out and endorse Biden. And it seems to me they are telling other “Important People” like Cher to endorse an Alzheimer’s patient. (Maybe Cher is in a mental decline?)

Caitlin Johnstone details the many occasions that Biden demonstrates why he needs to be in a nursing home, not the White House. Video after video after video. And people really voted for him in the primaries? However, some people in the comments are saying they had no idea he was that bad. Had they known…and all that. So, don’t people actually listen to the news? Are millions and millions of people that far gone, that far hypnotized by their stupid little devices like zombies?

By the way, elderly people aren’t the only ones with dementia, or early onset dementia. “Between 2013 and 2017, early-onset dementia and Alzheimer’s diagnoses increased by 83% among commercially insured Americans aged 30 to 44,” according Philly Voice as reported by Activist Post, with some references to cell phone use.

I can’t imagine Joe Biden as President. Who in his right mind wants this guy’s “finger on the button”? (I know I don’t.)

This tells me that they are letting Biden “win” all the delegates, which I am suspicious of, because on the news when reporters would informally poll people leaving the polling stations I heard several say they voted for Bloomberg. But Bloomberg apparently only got .000000001% of the vote, or something like that. I know I’m close. (You see what hundreds of millions of dollars will buy you in politics? Nuttin’! So much for “buying the election,” Liawatha.)

So, I think it’s ALL rigged. And so much for the “Democrat” party that doesn’t believe in “democracy.” It’s the “Undemocratic” Party. Another example is how they are now rigging the next debate to exclude Tulsi Gabbard even though she qualifies for it with her having received a delegate in a primary.

No, the voters who are members of the Democrat party do not get to hear another alternative to the two old drooling geezers, Biden and Bernie Sanders. And make sure there are plenty of restrictions in getting non-Establishment candidates on ballots in future primaries, Undemocrats. The voters do not have a say in these processes, only the “cigar-chomping” party leaders, hacks, hooligans and gangsters.

Anyway, if the Democrats “nominate” Biden, they will either replace him at the convention with Hillary or Michelle Obama, or tell him to pick one of those for VP. Then if elected he would step down and we would then have our “First Woman President,” which is debatable with those two.

And while I’ve been critical of the Libertarian Party in the past, at least they might have someone who understands the principles of freedom and non-aggression, private property rights and freedom of association. If they nominate Jacob Hornberger for President, he will not be another Gary Johnson, or another Bob Barr.

Unfortunately, Hornberger doesn’t want to get rid of the U.S. government’s centralized power apparatus altogether, which is what really needs to be done to restore our freedom, prosperity, and a peaceful society. But he’s certainly a lot closer to Ron Paul and Harry Browne, that’s for sure.

The next Libertarian Party primaries and caucuses will be in Missouri, Ohio, New York, Nebraska. And then after the LP’s national convention there are further primaries and caucuses in Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, North Dakota and D.C. (There’s a Libertarian Party in Washington, D.C.? Who knew?)

Are you a voter? I’m not.

Unnecessary Coronavirus COVID-19 Hysteria and Panic

The gubmint in Washington is bribing officials in the states to welcome its expanding powers even more. Here are two important articles by Jon Rappoport, in which he explains what’s going on with the medical officials’ expanding the definition of “confirmed cases” to be many more than actually are, and on the usual “follow the money” theme. I suggest reading those articles, his recent writing on today’s hysteria and panic with the coronavirus COVID-19.

And Jeremy Samuel Faust, emergency physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an instructor at Harvard Medical School, has an important article at Slate, COVID-19 Isn’t As Deadly As We Think.

This all suggests that COVID-19 is a relatively benign disease for most young people, and a potentially devastating one for the old and chronically ill, albeit not nearly as risky as reported. Given the low mortality rate among younger patients with coronavirus—zero in children 10 or younger among hundreds of cases in China, and 0.2-0.4 percent in most healthy nongeriatric adults (and this is still before accounting for what is likely to be a high number of undetected asymptomatic cases)—we need to divert our focus away from worrying about preventing systemic spread among healthy people—which is likely either inevitable, or out of our control—and commit most if not all of our resources toward protecting those truly at risk of developing critical illness and even death: everyone over 70, and people who are already at higher risk from this kind of virus.

This still largely comes down to hygiene and isolation. But in particular, we need to focus on the right people and the right places. Nursing homes, not schools. Hospitals, not planes. We need to up the hygienic and isolation ante primarily around the subset of people who can’t simply contract SARS-CoV-2 and ride it out the way healthy people should be able to.

Healthy people who are hoarding food, masks, and hand sanitizer may feel like they are doing the right thing. But, all good intentions aside, these actions probably represent misdirected anxieties. When such efforts are not directly in service of protecting the right people, not only do they miss the point of everything we have learned so far, they may actually unwittingly be squandering what have suddenly become precious and limited resources

I really hope people will stop panicking and being so hysterical. And I mean the irresponsible, fear-mongers in government and media. They are terrible!
