On Censorship of the Truth and Science

In reference to my recent post on investigative reporter Jon Rappoport’s WordPress.com blog taken down by the truth censors a week ago, he has written an update on that which is appearing on Activist Post. One important topic that he writes about is the vaccine issue, and I was speculating that that might be why the truth censors are censoring his blog now.

On his recent update, Rappoport writes

Why did they censor me? Was it my articles about toxic vaccines, about freedom of the individual vs. the State, about the CIA, about Obama, about Trump, about political liars, about medical drugs killing millions of people? Lots to choose from. Who really cares what it was exactly? It was CENSORSHIP.

I wasn’t laying out charts for building H-bombs. WordPress shut down my blog without notice or warning or explanation. However, I see no reason to stop writing. So I’m keeping on. I’ve got people employing “other means” to get the blog back up. Regardless, here I am.

And he writes, regarding the difference between being informed/knowledgeable and censorship:

In the 1950s, we had, in the US, a Red Scare. It consisted of Communist ideology. The question was, should students be allowed to read the Communist Manifesto, or should Marx’s pamphlet be burned and banned? The knee-jerk reaction was: ban the booklet. The minority opinion was: let students read it and understand it. But of course, the American school system hadn’t prepared pupils to analyze ANYTHING.

So there was no solution. The whole Red Scare faded away eventually, as a “kinder, gentler” Leftist ideology spread through the country like ink on a blotter.

EDUCATION SHOULD PREPARE PEOPLE TO MAKE UP THEIR OWN MINDS THROUGH THOUGHT AND LOGIC.

Censorship is the coward’s way out.

Censorship works when evil people accumulate enough power. This power CAN BE affected when a strong enough public reaction occurs. That’s called a clue.

As I wrote in my initial post on Jon Rappoport’s blog being taken down, in the news and on mainstream media we hear a lot of hysteria and propaganda on the vaccine issue. Especially now with the measles outbreak. Hysterical news media and establishment pharma-paid doctors are beating the drums with false information that the measles outbreak is being caused by unvaccinated people, yet the opposite is true. Studies are finding that the measles outbreaks are more among vaccinated populations, and because the vaccine itself is not effective.

The pharmaceutical industry definitely has a stranglehold on today’s establishment “doctors,” while those who cite studies questioning the vaccines or other pharmaceutical drugs are stifled.

Another item of propaganda is that studies have “debunked” the assertion that vaccines have caused injuries, especially in children, whose brains are still in important developing stages. I’ve linked to this before, but Sharyl Attkisson has this article on what the news isn’t saying about vaccine-autism studies. She details several studies, one after another. Yet, the typical response from the hypnotized and propagandized zombies is, “But that’s been debunked.” No, it’s not “debunked.”

And it isn’t just autism, but various kinds of cognitive issues, conditions and diseases including Alzheimer’s that could be in part related to vaccines. One explanation for this is the adjuvants used in vaccines, especially aluminum.

Would all the debunkers out there like to explain why the government has paid out over $4 billion in compensation for vaccine injuries, if there’s no problem with vaccines?

So, besides fascists like NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio ordering unvaccinated children to stay in even though they are not sick and pose no danger to anyone, we have the propagandists with their information control to censor the truth about this one issue, which seems to be soooo controversial that many people on both sides — the fascist side versus the freedom side — arguing for really no good reason.

And finally, it really is a matter of the right to informed choice and consent. So regarding those who want to make vaccines mandatory by law and who want to criminalize those who don’t get a vaccine, I will quote Tom Knapp on this, which I did before.

Debate Proposition:

Resolved, that there is no difference in principle between sticking a needle in someone’s body without his or her permission and sticking a penis in someone’s body without his or her permission.

An Initial Look at Some of the 2020 Libertarian Party Presidential Candidates

In May of 2016 I wrote my article on some of the then Libertarian Party candidates of President, with some references to some past candidates and how the LP has changed (for the worse) over the years. That article was at the time of the LP convention for the 2016 election. But now I want to write about some of the official candidates and some unofficial candidates for 2020.

In 2012 and 2016 the LP chose statist Gary Johnson the pothead to be the “Libertarian” Party Presidential nominee. Ugh. And in 2016 Bill Weld was the LP’s VP nominee. Among other naive or incoherent things, Johnson said that Barack Obama was a “good guy,” and that Hillary Clinton is a “a wonderful public servant.”

And I responded to that by writing, “Obama’s war on journalists and government whistleblowers, his war on medical marijuana, his assassinations of non-convicted suspects without charges, his drone murders and other warmongering, his medical care intrusions and other acts of criminality, show that no, Barack Obama is not a ‘good guy.’ He is a ‘bad guy.'”

And I also wrote, “Besides being a corrupt sleazebag and a degenerate, Hillary is a real criminal. And not just from the Clinton Foundation racket and the email server criminality but a real war criminal as well, even going back to her days as first lady, aiding and abetting her criminal husband in his ethnic cleansing of Kosovo and his continuing bombing and sanctions against Iraq throughout the 1990s, as she urged and supported Bill Clinton to continue doing those horrible things.”

And on Weld, “And Bill Weld wants a ‘thousand-person FBI task force treating ISIS as a gigantic organized crime family’? No, the real libertarian answer to that is to abolish the FBI, because it is the government that should be treated as a ‘gigantic organized crime family’!”

So I wanted to see just who is now running to be the LP’s nominee for President this time, in 2020. As I wrote in my article in 2016 Darryl Perry was the only candidate at that time who had the right, actual libertarian views on the issues. Certainly not Johnson, John McAfee, or Austin Peterson.

For the 2020 declared and potential LP candidates there are so many names now on Politics1.com’s list, it’s really too much for me now. But this is only May of 2019 and it’s a whole year to go until the LP’s national Presidential convention.

Anyway, to begin, there’s Adam Kokesh, who has been in the military in Iraq and has a history of confrontations with police at protests or demonstrations. I wrote a little about his debate with Larken Rose, who said that an anarchist such as Kokesh running for President is legitimizing an illegitimate system of coercion and force.

There is one thing that bothers me. On Kokesh’s campaign website, in the photo of him he is giving a military salute. Are you kidding me? I know, there are a lot of military worshipers out there, who praise the military for their invading and bombing other countries and murdering millions of innocents. I’m not saying that Kokesh is endorsing that, but WHY is he giving a military salute?!!

On the home page, he writes, “My name is Adam Kokesh and I’m running for Not-President of the United States with the Libertarian Party on the platform of the peaceful, responsible dissolution of the entire federal government.” Okay, that’s good. (That’s similar to what Darryl Perry wrote in 2016, “that the United States government, as it exists today, should be abolished!”) Kokesh writes on the Platform page on how he would dismantle the U.S. government.

Now, I agree with that, because centralization of government is what takes the society to ruin. The more decentralized the society, the more freedom there will be, and the better able people are to vote with their feet.

Another candidate is Dan “Taxation Is Theft” Behrman, who writes on his campaign website, “Taxation Is Theft,” “Fire the IRS,” “End the Fed,” “Erase the Debt,” “It’s time to free healthcare…by simply giving back our freedom to choose” (Video with Dan “Taxation Is Theft” Behrman explaining that.)…”Pardon the Innocent,” and other libertarian statements. (And he wears a funny hat.)

On William Hurst‘s campaign website, his slogan is “E Pluribus Unum Possumus – Of Many We Can Be One!” Huh? What do you mean we can be one? But I don’t want to be a part of a whole collective of people I don’t know, and be “one.” I just want freedom.

Under “My Goals,” Hurst writes, “If our children are to have a future, we need to address climate change now.” Huh? How do we address climate change which has been a natural occurrence on Earth for hundreds of millions of years that human activity has had nothing to do with, despite what the junk science fraudsters have brainwashed millions of people to believe?

And, “All citizens should be afforded quality education and a basic degree.” Huh? So what are you saying, that the gubmint should be providing education? Who defines “quality education,” the NEA? Betsy DeVos? And what about those who don’t want a “basic degree”?

In this interview, Hurst was asked if he supports Medicare for All, and his response: “Yes, if it doesn’t lend a hand to furthered abuses of the current healthcare system, I am all for it. This is one of the generally non-libertarian stances that you referred to earlier. I argue that it should be. You can’t enjoy freedom of you’re dead and the for-profit style of medicine has become a means of oppression.” Apparently, Hurst hasn’t read these articles. The “for-profit style of medicine” was working in America, and it was providing the best quality health care for most people and it wasn’t too expensive. Until Medicare was shoved down our throats, and then the quality of medical care declined and the costs went up!

Back to Hurst’s website, he writes about immigration (with my comments in brackets): “If it remains necessary to halt the illegal traffic across our border, to aid the efforts of our border patrol [“Our border patrol”? You mean our government border patrol, the police state?], we have the technology available that will allow for a nearly invisible barrier. This barrier will allow our guards [What, government guards? the border gestapo, “Your papers, please?” No thanks!] to effectively see and handle any potential threat while maintaining the ability of wildlife to traverse our expansive borders.”

On Ben Leder‘s campaign website, he proposes a Civilian Defense Act: “The Civilian Defense Act shall Repeal and Replace all Federal Gun Control Laws to include but not limited to the National Firearms Act of 1934, the National Firearms Act of 1938, the Control Act of 1968, the Hughes Amendment of the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986, the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993, Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, and reaffirm the Second Amendment of the US Constitution by creating an Online Government Auction for US Military Surplus.  All US Military Surplus shall be sold at auction to the highest bidder amongst the United States Civilian Market.  The US Civilian Market shall have the first right of refusal on all US Military Surplus, and all US Military Surplus Exports shall be sold at action to the highest bidder only after failing to be liquidated to the Civilian Marketplace.    Financing Options shall be made available to the US Civilian Market on US Military Surplus Equipment to include but not limited to Aircraft, Ships, Boats, in addition to Amphibious, Armored,  Wheeled, and Tracked Vehicles.” Hmmm.

And a Felony Forgiveness Act. “The Felony Forgiveness Act shall retroactively expunge all convictions for offenses no longer deemed illegal, to include but not limited to Drug Offenses, Firearms Offenses, and Tax Offenses….” Good.

Kimberly Ruff has a campaign website with an already chosen running mate, John Phillips.

On immigration reform, Ruff concludes, “We therefore call for the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and would declare, when elected, a full pardon for all otherwise innocent people who are in the country without government permission. We oppose the false conflation of government welfare with ‘illegal’ immigration, as those claims are unsupported by empirical study, and irrelevant to matters of natural rights. We oppose border walls as antithetical to the principles of freedom and liberty.” Good.

However, on his Positions on National Issues page, Kimberly Ruff’s VP running mate John Phillips states: “Immigration reform.  I am not a fully open borders with no restrictions person, though close.  I am however for MUCH easier immigration, work permits, and border crossing.  Once we correct our current welfare system I would be willing to look at making it even easier than I think we should now.” Work permits? You mean that people need to get a gubmint bureaucrat’s permission to work? “Correct our current welfare system”? I hope you mean “abolish” our current welfare system!

Now, I see on the Wikipedia page for the LP 2020 Presidential primaries that the Kimberly Ruff/John Phillips ticket has been endorsed by Darryl Perry, with a footnote link to this tweet. To me, that sure has a lot of weight, given how consistently libertarian and voluntaryist Darryl Perry is in his views.

And finally, someone who has a campaign website but hasn’t formally declared a candidacy for President is Jacob Hornberger, the founder and president of the Future of Freedom Foundation. He has quite an impressive background and résumé, and has been involved for many years in advancing liberty.

On Taxation, Hornberger states: “Abolish the federal income tax and the IRS. People have the fundamental, God-given right to keep everything they earn and decide for themselves what to do with it — spend, save, donate, or invest. The right to keep and dispose of the fruits of one’s earnings is a necessary prerequisite to a free society.”

On Healthcare, Hornberger states: “There is but one solution to what Democrats and Republicans have done to destroy what was once the greatest health-care system in the world: a total separation of health care and the state, just as our ancestors separated church and state. That necessarily means the repeal, not the reform, of Medicare, Medicaid, occupational licensure, and healthcare and tax regulations, all of which are nothing more than a cancer on the body politic.”

In fact, just this week he has some proposals for Constitutional amendments on his regular blog at FFF, such as: “No law shall be enacted by either the federal or the state governments respecting the regulation of commerce or abridging the free exercise thereof.” And, “No law shall be enacted by either the federal or state governments regarding the establishment of education or abridging the free exercise thereof.” (Well, I am not sure whether the inclusion of “state governments” might violate the Tenth Amendment, but whatever.)

On his campaign website, Hornberger has this video, A Political Message to Americans:

And he has it in Spanish as well.

Hornberger doesn’t agree with Adam Kokesh and Darryl Perry (and me) that we need to abolish the federal government, at the very least. But Hornberger does believe that the U.S. government needs to have most of what it is today dismantled, its police state given a dishonorable discharge and so on. As Hornberger wrote n 2013, permanently lay off the parasitic sector. Yup.

But in my view, the U.S. needs to decentralize, just as the old Soviet Union did. This entire territory is just too damn big to be all one single country and a single “culture.” Murray Rothbard wrote about how best to decentralize, and Lew Rockwell also envisioned how he’d like to see that done.

But, as long as this is one single country and ruled over by a single regime in Washington, we should have someone there who will veto just about everything, pardon peaceful non-criminals who are being harassed by government tyrants, and make use of the power of the executive branch to dismantle as much as possible that criminal racket in Washington, and liberate the people!

While I’m not endorsing anyone here, if the LP were to have its nominating convention today, I would be shocked if they didn’t nominate Jacob Hornberger, given his years of experience in advancing the cause of liberty, and his qualifications.

Is the Vaccine Issue Triggering WordPress.com to Censor Truth-Telling Blogs Now?

One of the blogs I read frequently is Jon Rappoport’s blog. Sadly, that has been taken down by WordPress.com. Here is his twitter post on that. The blog’s home page now states: “jonrappoport.wordpress.com is no longer available. This blog has been archived or suspended in accordance with our Terms of Service. For more information and to contact us please read this support document.” (I hope it will be back up within a day or two.)

But I can’t understand what he might have written that has offended readers, or offended the people at WordPress.com to cause the censorship. But thanks to the Wayback Machine, we can see what he wrote in his last blog before it was removed.

In “The lure of a stimulus-response world: Shrinking-freedom is a Spiritual covert op,” Rappoport writes about AI. Among other things, he writes:

The individual spirit can be trained to expect and even favor less freedom. It happens. Often, the rationale given is: we need more rules to protect everyone. Protection, protection, protection—vastly overcooked.

Major powers behind the scenes will covertly finance and organize conflict, crime, violence, war, and violation of basic freedoms, in order to “prove” that everyone needs to be protected.

When an individual has freedom and feels it, his view of life and the world CHANGES IMMEDIATELY. He looks around, astonished. His muzzle has fallen away. He feels his voice, his body, and he feels open space. He suddenly has tons of energy, and he’s ready to use that energy.

Therefore, “operators” decide they must turn down the flame and pour water on it. “Can’t have lots of free people walking around. It spells trouble.”

And then he has this paragraph:

Or you’ll get something like this. Sitting with his fellow planners in a secure boardroom, a heavy hitter says, “You know, in XXX Country, there is a remote lake in the mountains. Thirty families have been living there in a community for perhaps a thousand years. They still use the same large dugout canoes. They fish. They embroider and sew. They make colorful pots. They have freedom, and they know what to do with it. We leave them alone. They’re quiet. They have no interest in exporting their way of life. They’re rather quaint. All over the world, there are small groups like this. We don’t care about them. We’re focused on nations and their populations. These are the people we want to control. We want to ‘prove’ they need less freedom in order to be protected. They need more rules and intrusive laws and mandates. And many, many bureaucrats…”

Is that the “offensive” content? Perhaps, although he has been writing on the vaccine controversy. There was one post recently on the vaccine issue that I thought was particularly good, https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2019/02/15/vaccines-cause-brain-damage-mothers-know-that/.

Here it is on the Wayback Machine.

And in that post he has some other links to some of his previous posts on vaccines as well as other articles.

I’ve written several posts now on the vaccines, including this one and this one with links, because that controversy seems to be in the news lately. Liars in the news media and government are blaming measles outbreaks on “anti-vaxxers,” many of whom are really ex-vaxxers because their kids suddenly showed severe signs of cognitive damage shortly after they received vaccines. The propagandists and their sheeple echo-chamber blame “anti-vaxxers” even though the recent measles outbreaks have been among already-vaccinated people.

I would not be surprised if Jon Rappoport’s posts on the vaccines are what have triggered the censors, especially because we’re seeing the vaccine skeptics being censored elsewhere, such as with Facebook censoring them. There’s a lot of propaganda being spread regarding how vaccines’ possible dangers have been allegedly “debunked,” and how safe they are, including multiple vaccines that are given to babies only months old, whose brains are still in the earliest developmental stages.

This propaganda is being disseminated in the same kind of robotic, unthinking way as the “Trump-Russia collusions” narrative has been told over the past 3 years. No surprise there, given how dumb Americans have become and many lacking in critical thinking skills.

I guess the pharmaceutical industry has a LOT of control over the media, as well as government officials, elected and unelected. Many media outlets have as sponsors the pharmaceutical companies, but the non-commercial outlets such as NPR are just as bad. And Merck, the maker of the MMR vaccine, also produces the murderous Gardasil vaccine.

And speaking of outright propaganda, I heard some of Jane Pauley’s Sunday Morning show yesterday on Bloomberg Radio. She featured Dr. Jon LaPook with a story on how “anti-vaxxers” spread “misinformation” about vaccines.

LaPook’s story was dripping, oozing propaganda from beginning to end, with no discussion with any vaccine skeptics or actual scientists or doctors who are wary about giving vaccines to vulnerable little kids whose natural immune systems are compromised by the flood of vaccines at such an early age. God forbid we should hear the view that “herd immunity” is a myth.

Will we hear on these “news” shows how Merck scientists have been suing Merck because of Merck’s alleged data falsification and lying about their vaccine’s efficacy? Nope. Because truthful data destroy the false narrative.

No, Jane Pauley’s feature on vaccines was only a one-sided discussion featuring the propagandists. It reminded me of Chuck Toady on Meet the Press a month or so ago in his one-hour special devoted to the “climate change” crisis, with no scientists to interview who have a different point of view except the mass-hysteria fanatical one.

And this is what mainstream media has become (or maybe always was, I don’t know), and what social media are becoming as well. Allow the propaganda (a.k.a. “fake news“) to spread but censor the truth.

So the censoring of the truth is what we’re seeing in WordPress.com’s removing Jon Rappoport’s blog, as we have been seeing in the removing of many other writers, bloggers, investigative researchers and reporters who are not paid by pharmaceutical companies, by the military contractors, or by Monsanto.

Are We in Soviet Amerika? Or Nazi Amerika? A Little In Between?

I have to write this, but I don’t want to. These kinds of posts are difficult. A lot of people are in denial as far as what our society has become, and what it is turning into. If you point things out, and “connect the dots,” there are many brainwashed sheeple who call you “paranoid,” “conspiracy theorist,” etc. But, because of generations now of the results of government-controlled schooling, we have more of a Nazi Germany and a Soviet Amerika than a free society.

Just look at the way the Soviet-like apparatchiks in Congress suddenly demand Donald Trump’s tax returns as soon as the Mueller report completely exonerated him. “Well, if the nearly two-year Mueller investigation couldn’t find any evidence of wrong-doing, then we have to get him on something! Let’s go through his taxes, and maybe we’ll find something to get him on.” In other words, without any crime that’s been alleged in the first place, without any reason to suspect Trump of any specific tax law violation, the apparatchiks immediately go on a fishing expedition. (After the two-year Mueller fishing expedition.) But yo, dummies in Congress, like Jerrold Nadler and Adam Schiffty et al., let’s go through YOUR tax returns as well, without a reason to suspect you of something.

You see, government criminals can do this to anyone they want, not just a President. I’m sure that if Republican Senators want to get Nadler’s tax returns they can do that. Or Bernie’s or Elizabeth Warren’s, etc.

So this is the Soviet Union now. And that is what these people want. They want another Soviet society, in which the elites have a lot of control over the lives of the people. If you dare to criticize the “system” in any way, as Donald Trump has done such as during the 2016 campaign, and “Drain the Swamp!”, watch out. In the Soviet Union they would send people to the gulag merely for uttering such disloyal things.

And Kamala Harris, what is “Kamala”? I wonder if that stands for “Camel-a Harris,” as in the camel’s nose in the tent, and all that. Is she a reincarnated Soviet commissar? Perhaps a reincarnated storm trooper? Because, she wants to arrest and jail parents for not sending their kids into the government schools. In other words, for the kids not going into the indoctrination prisons to get their daily brainwashing of government-worship, which is what generations of Amerikans have gotten now.

And it’s not just those on the Left. I’ve spent plenty of time here criticizing the talk radio ditto-heads and their “conservative” followers, their worship of “America” and worship of a flag, and of centralized government planners in Washington regarding the immigration problem, Socialist Security and Medicare that they don’t want to get rid of, and their love and worship of the government police and military and the police state in Amerika. So they’re just as bad, in my view.

But the Soviet wannabes on the Left, though. In my recent rant against their “Medicare for All” they want to forcibly impose on everyone whether people like it or not and enforced at the point of a government gun, I did make a brief mention that it’s all about control. Political control, and it’s not because these dishonest people care about “the poor” or “the needy” or “people who can’t afford health insurance.” These activists couldn’t care less about them.

It’s about control.

“We need to have everybody’s personal medical information on record and in our files, like the FBI files, so we know who has what illness, who is taking what drugs, and what each person says to his or her doctor. We need to know if there are any indications of people who might have a firearm, who might be hoarding food or other survival supplies, people who have criticized their congressman (‘contempt of Congress,’ etc.), people who might be conservative, who might be a Christian, who might have made negative statements about LGBT people,  and so on. We need to have information on people who might be considering running for their local school committee, especially if they do not support our social agenda, and so on.”

Oh, how paranoid. Really? No, not really. Not paranoid. There are signs everywhere. For instance, Bernie and “AOC” are pushing for so many Soviet-like government takeovers and seizures of private businesses and property, such as in their wanting to nationalize the banking system and credit. So the above made-up quote is realistic, and this is why “Medicare for All,” or “Single Payer,” or Soviet medical care.

They want to know who has what views, who may actually be thinking for themselves, and who is off the reservation. Those who aren’t compliant, well, we can look at the 20th Century and those paradises of collectivism these fanatics worship with intense drooling, and see the skulls piled up by the millions. You think that’s an exaggeration? “Noooo, they wouldn’t be that extreme!” Listen to how they view not just the unborn but babies who have already been born. It’s okay to kill them if they are undesired. So, these people on the Left are just as bad as the conservatives who have been supporting and defending the U.S. wars of aggression overseas, the killing of millions of innocent civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Germany, etc., and dehumanizing their victims.

We’re seeing all over the society of how certain people are getting fired from their jobs, being thrown off various boards for having expressed the “wrong” view. Social media are censoring certain people now. As I had linked to recently, the U.S. is quickly becoming like China in its Orwellian “social credit score” hell.

So, as in Nazi Germany, we have people reporting on others who don’t toe the party line, or businesses being coerced to report on their customers who fit the FBI’s description of “suspicious.”

And look at the FBI now. Their spying on the Trump campaign and making up reasons to do so didn’t just start with the 2016 campaign. They had an informant in the Trump organization since 2003. Probably since well before that, like since Trump’s discussion with Oprah in 1988 about his possibly running for President. Government apparatchiks go after successful private sector businesspeople, as I have mentioned before.

But as long as the apparatus of central planning and control exists in Washington, which was always a bad idea to begin with, we will have people fighting to grasp the controls to wield the power to try to mold and shape an obedient and compliant population. And that is ALL those “democratic socialists” and social activists crave.
